BPIF Members’ Day
BPIF Members' Day is a recurring date in the calendar that many of our members (and our own staff) look forward to year-on-year.
This year's Members' Day, takes place on 4 July in London, with a morning conference and the BPIF AGM taking place at the St Bride Foundation in Blackfriars; and the All Party Parliamentary Print Group (APPPG) Reception being held at the House of Lords in the afternoon.
Following the success of last year's conference, which focussed on improving negotiation skills, the morning will consist of a session hosted by Digital Management Consultant, David Taylor.
This year's BPIF Members' Day will take place on Tuesday 4 July featuring a morning conference hosted by Digital Management Consultant, David Taylor.
It is vital that all businesses, whether large or small, adapt to both today's increasingly digital age, and to the modern tech-savvy customer. While this involves embracing social media and mobile technology, in many ways it's about doing the basics of business right. Innovating your proposition, educating yourself about the market you're in, and relating to your customers are all key.
This conference will guide you through the modern digital landscape, highlighting some of the latest trends, before taking you through the DNAsixTM six-step social business model. This has been specially designed to help you make money, save money and ensure your business continues to thrive in the long run.
David has almost 25 years experience in media, garnered from a career in journalism, in-house media relations, PR, marketing, social media training and consultancy. He has a proven track record in designing and implementing comprehensive, multi-layered, nationwide communications strategy and plans to support digital transformation and business growth. Previous clients include JTI, Reckitt Benckiser, PwC, Grosvenor, BNP Paribas and the Federation of Small Businesses.
In the afternoon members will be provided with a review of the key achievements made by the BPIF over the past year and the opportunity to ask questions of CEO, Charles Jarrold, and new President, Darren Coxon of Pensord.
Once again, attendees are invited to join us on the Terrace at the House of Lords for the annual APPPG Reception* from 15.30 - 17.00. A short distance from the St Bride Foundation, attendees can get to Westminster by either tube or bus; or for those who wish to take in the sights - a leisurely stroll along the Thames.
The APPPG is an excellent opportunity to network with MPs, Lords and Peers to showcase the importance of printing to the UK economy over drinks and canapes.

Technology has revolutionised most industries, but none more than print. And it is technology that's driving the photo personalisation market across the globe. The introduction of the smartphone with its integrated camera has galvanised users into wanting to do much more with their images than just share them in cyberspace. Users are starting to realise that they can design and order an unparalleled number of personalised photo products from their mobile devices, using images that are stored on their phones.
