Entries now open for the Kathy Woodward Award for Learning
Launched in July 2015, in memory of the BPIF's much loved CEO, Kathy Woodward, who sadly passed away a year previously, the £1,000 Award - sponsored by Webmart - will support individuals in the print, packaging and graphic design industries to further their careers.
Last year’s winner was BPIF Level 5 Management Programme Graduate Chris Pinborough, Production Director at Precision Printing , who invested the money in his fees for the BPIF MSc Management course which started in October 2015.
Of the award, Chris said, "I feel incredibly humble and proud to have won. Kathy was a true ambassador for print, her philosophy to develop staff for the future is something I aim to achieve at a more local level.”
To apply for the £1,000 Award, you will need to submit a 500 word proposal on why you should receive the award and how you would spend the money to further your career in the print, packaging or graphic design industries.
All applications should be sent directly to [email protected] by 5pm on Wednesday 22 June 2016.

22 February 2024
Performance in the UK's printing and printed packaging industry did improve in Q4, as far as output and orders are concerned. However, it didn't come close to what would historically be considered the seasonal norm, nor quite match the subdued expectations for Q4.
