Hunts in Oxford focuses on clients by concentrating on it's employees and signing up for NVQ Level 5 Management Programme
Hunts in Oxford, is a marketing solutions business with its heritage in print and has an impressive strap line which reads "hunts paper and pixels". The strap line succinctly says so much about hunts - that they are a modern marketing business and printing company offering impressive quality print, more importantly they understand that print is just one channel of the communication mix that their client's require.
The communication mix is often referred to as cross media, and being able to embrace cross media requires employees that are confident, talented and knowledgeable. Cross media is fast moving, often intangible and very varied, so it requires expert employees.
Hunts satisfies this requirement for, talented and knowledgeable employees by embracing the training opportunities made available to the whole business.
Hunts have BPIF apprentices in the business, and have used BPIF Team Leader Training, for the management team. They have now signed up three people for the BPIF Management Programme NVQ level 5. This represents an all inclusive training programme from bottom to top.
Timon Colegrove said, "Employee development is crucial to the success of Hunts, but it does not start and stop at formal training such as the level 5 programme. We encourage employees to be engaged with the industry all the time, this might be serving on the BPIF Regional Board or asking employees to attend trade exhibitions such as Drupa - but always with an objective to improve their skills and move the business forward"
