Luxury specialist papermaker Fedrigoni partners with HP Spark to offer free digital printing workshops for creatives and designers

8 July 2022 - Luxury specialist papermaker Fedrigoni has partnered with HP Spark to host a number of free digital printing workshops for creatives and designers this month at its London-based studio and exhibition space at 67 Clerkenwell Road, London, EC1R 5BL. 

From 14 – 22 July 2022, the workshops will provide creatives – including designers, coders, artists or just the creative curious – the license to explore a new kind of software that unites the beauty of technical computer coding with art. 

The workshops will be run by Oswin Tickler, a graphic designer and educator, who pioneered this new printing technology known as HP Spark. His software is a culmination of a creative experiment exploring how coding and algorithms can be creatively visualised beyond complex strings of letters and numbers into beautiful design – from maps and constellations to landscapes – demonstrating an entirely new medium and method for creating.  

Participants of the free exclusive workshops will be able to take away a copy of their creation, printed by print partner FE Burman on a selection of quality Digital HP Indigo certified paper provided by Fedrigoni, to frame, hang and showcase.

Workshops are by appointment only on 15, 18 and 22 July, 10am – 12:30pm or 2pm – 4:30pm. Private viewing will be hosted on 14 July 6pm – 9pm.
