New Business Premises for Friedheim International
The month of November saw Friedheim make the move from Park House, the trusted home of the last 22 years – to a modern and fitting place of business at Unit 1 Zodiac; A welcoming, light filled environment with superfast connections, zoned environment control & heightened security. We’re energy conscious too, super insulative glazing and door systems retain energy while outdated appliances are replaced with new eco-accredited units.
Upstairs we’re primed for team working; an open plan design with project desks & a communal relaxation space. On the ground floor space is optimized for a streamlined goods in/goods out process with latest mobile spare parts racking, as well as a state-of-the-art server & comms room, and a large board room with an integrated media center. More than conveniently placed, our new headquarters are just 1 minute from the M1 - ideal for visitors, staff, and goods.
“Our customers are always at the forefront of our minds and to ensure we maximise our customer service offering we have to be forward thinking while developing and maintaining the knowledge and expertise of our dedicated staff” says Mark Bristow, Managing Director and Owner since 2005
Completed over a weekend in November the move was executed with zero downtime – a team effort we’re very proud of. Our new place of business can be thought of as a springboard for growth; As we grow and adapt to the needs of our customers and stay ahead of technical innovation, we must also provide the right environment for staff to grow with it; new skills, new opportunities, and new horizons.
Over 137 years since founder Oscar Friedheim set up in London’s print district, the company has grown to be the leading finishing and converting equipment supplier, the leading digital solutions provider in the UK & Ireland, and to be a front runner in sustainable packaging machinery - serving many thousands of customers across five divisions, and is still entering new markets today.
1 Zodiac is not just the next step in Oscar Friedheim’s legacy, it’s the start of something new.

22 February 2024
Performance in the UK's printing and printed packaging industry did improve in Q4, as far as output and orders are concerned. However, it didn't come close to what would historically be considered the seasonal norm, nor quite match the subdued expectations for Q4.
