BPIF staff member in Lands End – John O’Groats charity bike ride

In May this year, veteran charity fund-raiser and BPIF Midlands staff member, Stephanie Smart, will be fulfilling a lifelong dream and cycling the 900 miles between Lands End and John O’Groats, on behalf of two charities – Volunteer Bureau and Motability. Stephanie’s parents help run the local Volunteer Bureau in Wombourne, where anyone can drop in for practical help, such as supplying a wheel chair or taking someone to hospital in the centre’s ambulance. Stephanie’s mother needs a wheel chair to get around in, and if it were not for the help of Motability and their specially adapted car she would be housebound. If you are interested in sponsoring Stephanie please send a cheque made to payable to either ‘The Volunteer Bureau’ or ‘Motability’ to Mr T.J. Smart, 71 Planks Lane, Wombourne, WV5 8DX. For more information on either charity please contact Stephanie Smart 0121 789 5100 [email protected].
