BPIF Scholarship winner''s top marks prove the judges right!
Jenny Keeble, a winner of a BPIF Educational Scholarship in 2004 has justified her selection by the judging panel with the highest possible result in the second year of her BA Foundation Degree in Printing & Publishing Production. Studying online with the London College of Communication whilst working fulltime, Jenny has been awarded a distinction, the highest possible commendation. She now plans to move on to study Print Management in her third year. Twenty-three year old Jenny works as a Co-ordinator within the Production Department of Guardian Newspapers. The 2005 BPIF Educational Scholarships - 12 bursaries of £2500 each are being held open until the Spring. Young people who are UK citizens aged 18-30 are invited to apply before 31 March justifying their claim to a bursary to help fund their education or training in pursuit of a career in the UK printing and graphic arts industries. Slight recovery of output and orders falls short of expectations in Q4 - confidence concerns mount in 2024

Performance in the UK's printing and printed packaging industry did improve in Q4, as far as output and orders are concerned. However, it didn't come close to what would historically be considered the seasonal norm, nor quite match the subdued expectations for Q4.
