Northern Ireland - are you considering gaining FSC/PEFC Chain of Custody Certification?
Attention Northern Ireland Print and Packaging Companies
The need for printers to demonstrate effective environmental management is growing. Compliance with changing legislation is critical in avoiding litigation and it is also important to demonstrate your Corporate Social Responsibility credentials to clients and employees alike. It takes constant care and supervision to ensure that all your obligations to the environment and to your staff are met. In addition, more and more printers are finding that good environmental management saves them money, wins them new customers and retains existing clients.
In order to assist Northern Ireland members achieve FSC/PEFC Chain of Custody Certification we are considering setting up a group scheme for 6 – 8 printers to minimise costs. The scheme will involve at the most 4 days over a period of 8 weeks.
If there is enough interest we will put together a full programme with associated costings. Alternatively we can quote for this work to be done independently.
At this stage we ask you to email [email protected] to let her know if you would be interested in participating in a group scheme or working independently towards certification.
Your earliest response would be very much appreciated.
