Protect our Apprenticeships-Print Industry Apprenticeship Trailblazer

An employer led submission, with support from the BPIF, was made in July to government to develop new Apprenticeship Standards for our industry.

BIS only had resource to support 37 bids, and with over 120 applications this bid was unfortunately not successful. However feedback confirmed it was a strong proposal which was clearly employer led, thanks to the support of over 90 employers from our industry. They also praised the SME involvement. We therefore will be submitting again in February 2015 and meanwhile will continue to lobby for continued government support of apprenticeships.

We would appreciate your support for this employer led bid in February. To ensure the protection of industry apprenticeships and funding please click below to register your support.
