Print specific insurance offers BPIF Members benefits
Members have access to a range of business insurance products designed specifically for the printing industry which feature exclusive benefits for BPIF members.
Available either from our dedicated member insurance providers, or through your existing insurance broker, this service is intended to offer members' greater choice by catering for the different insurance and budgetary needs of our members.
What are the benefits?

Discount for members - BPIF members receive a 5% discount from BPIF Insurance premiums compared to non-members.
- Flexible underwriting - Policies are underwritten by experts with many years' experience of the printing industry. This helps them to understand the risks faced by modern printing businesses and underwrite a personalised solution to match.
- Specialist products - access to print industry specific products which offer members cover for trade risks including financial loss, libel and slander, breach of copyright and confidentiality, operator error, bookbinders' liability and inching and crawling.
- Recognition of BPIF quality standards - Underwriters take into account high scores from BPIF health checks, including the achievement of the BPIF's Seal of Excellence, when deciding how much your policy will cost.

Slight recovery of output and orders falls short of expectations in Q4 - confidence concerns mount in 2024

Performance in the UK's printing and printed packaging industry did improve in Q4, as far as output and orders are concerned. However, it didn't come close to what would historically be considered the seasonal norm, nor quite match the subdued expectations for Q4.
