Perfect Open Days

Towards the end of November, Perfect Bindery Solutions, which provide finishing equipment and advice to the printing Industry, hosted three open days to show off their new premises and demonstrate production of lay flat and oversized books.

Following a formal opening presided over by Kathy Woodward of the BPIF, Perfect Bindery Solutions launched the new Palamides Lay Flat Binder and the Smyth Large Format Sewing Machine, showing how to bind Mohawk Panoramic Lay Flat booklets and print onto a wide range of Mohawk substrates.

Visitors received perfect personalised calendars, featuring their twelve favourite photos, courtesy of ISL and its new Catfish web-to-print platform.

Machines on display included MGI Digital Press, MGI combined Creaser/Laminater, ODM Sticker and Smasher, Horauf SN Demand 3HT, Ideal Guillotine, Tranklein Corner Cutter and Gluing Machine, Atom Press, JBI Wiro Binder, Crease Stream and the Unibind Foil Xpress.

Intergraf welcomes the release of a study by our partner MLPS (Medical Leaflet = Patient Safety), a subgroup of the European Carton Manufacturers Association (ECMA) shedding light on the potential economic costs associated with the proposed use of Print on Demand (PoD) leaflets in the pharmaceutical legislation revision.
