The BPIF offer expert advice at The Print Show

The BPIF offer expert advice at The Print Show

The BPIF will be on hand on 13-15 October at The Print Show at Birmingham NEC to inform print, packaging and graphic communications companies of the fantastic support available to members.

The Print Show exhibition is designed to provide the key tools that everyone from the smallest high-street print shop to the biggest conglomerate need to remain competitive and the BPIF should be your first port of call at stands P29 and B44 for all your business support needs.

At stand P29 our industry specialists will be discussing the support available to members in gaining funding. With a team of regional advisers, the BPIF are fully equipped to help streamline and support you through the often time consuming and complicated process.

We will also be offering advice on how to go about taking on apprentices. The average apprentice delivers £10,000 in productivity gains every year, rising to twice that for manufacturing sectors. The BPIF is the number one training provider for the printing, packaging and graphic communications industry, providing a complete training portfolio, from introductory courses for new entrants to on-going refresher courses and seminars for managers and supervisors.

The BPIF will also be presenting a Diversification Zone (stand B44) to advise printers on how to expand into the world of printed packaging. The packaging sector is thriving and comprises: flexible packaging, probably the largest beneficiary, followed by cartons, the corrugated sector, and finally labels. Entry into these markets is not without its problems. Most companies within the sector are obliged to have ISO 9001 accreditation as well as BRC and Pharmaceutical standard approval. BPIF specialist consultant Garry Mellor will be on stand B44 at The Print Show to help advise printers should they want to diversify into these areas.
