Are your internal systems ready for Windows 10?

Windows 10 is coming to a desktop near you and you have probably already received a notification from Microsoft. The icon looks like this in the task bar:

Windows 10 will be the last operating system Microsoft will release in the traditional sense and after Windows 10 all upgrades will be issued online. If you have a licensed copy of Windows 7/8 you will get a free upgrade to Windows 10 as long as you upgrade before July 2016. Otherwise the cost of the upgrade after July 2016 will be approximately £99 per PC.

The issue for employers is that the free update has been sent directly to your staff's PCs. Do you really want your staff upgrading their operating system before you have tested all your internal applications for compatibility? What if your CRM or MIS system is not yet compatible?

To counter this the BPIF are offering a Windows 10 on-site test service, we will loan you a desktop PC for a week and send an engineer to site for a day to install all your applications. You can then test the PC and operating system over the week to highlight any issues that need to be addressed before you roll out the upgrade.

Additionally we can help with a managed roll out of Windows 10 across the network once you know everything works for you.

The cost of this service is £399 plus VAT.
