Printing for Profit

Do you know how your company measures against key performance ratios such as:

Do you know how your company's performance compares with your competitors in the same product sector or with the industry as a whole? Printing for Profit, the BPIF’s benchmarking tool, will give you this information and much more.

Printing for Profit Level 1

Printing for Profit Level 1, free to all responding members, will provide you with a full range of productivity and profitability ratios (ratios such as; value of output per head and net profit as a percentage of capital employed) across different sectors of the industry.

Level 1 report calculates 17 productivity and profitability ratios for; the National Industry; Scotland; 12 different sectors of the industry; and makes comparisons with the previous year.

Printing for Profit Level 2

Respondents also have the option of obtaining Printing for Profit Level 2; this will highlight your company’s specific ratios against the individual ratios of other companies in your sector (all information is held in the strictest of confidence, results are only shown in ratio form and no companies are identified). This optional report, containing a series of tables, charts and graphs that quickly build up a profile of how you compare with other similar firms is available for responding members to purchase at £120 ( VAT).

Level 2 report calculates 32 different ratios for your company and compares them to: other companies of the same size; companies in the same sector; the national averages. The report shows how your company compares with the best performing ones in the study and contains a series of charts showing how your company’s ratios compare to those actual ratios of other similar companies.

As with the other BPIF survey reports, pricing structure is £250 to non-responding members, £500 to non-members (£250 if they take part, also if they take part they will get the Level 2 report for £150).  The latest report can be ordered online on www.printdata.org.uk
