Ross Bellotti & Dave Stones of Kingfisher Print & Design
Devon-based Kingfisher Print & Design, specialists in commercial litho and digital print, have announced the appointment of Dave Stones as its new Commercial Director. The 30 year-old family firm which employs over 30 staff and turns over £3.75m annually made the strategic move in line with ambitious growth plans.
Dave will be responsible for contributing to Kingfisher Print & Design’s overall strategy and increasing offerings to both existing and new clients. He will oversee marketing, strategic business partnerships and sales and will report into Ross Bellotti, Kingfisher Print & Design’s Managing Director.
Dave Stones joins Kingfisher Print & Design with over fourteen years’ experience in the print industry, from Stirland Paterson Group, Derby where he was Group Sales and Marketing Manager. His role at Stirland Paterson Group saw him responsible for the sales team and Dave was heavily involved in strategic decision making in partnership with the board.
Commenting on the new appointment, Managing Director Ross Bellotti said "Dave Stones brings valuable know-how, and a real drive to push Kingfisher Print & Design to the next level. His knowledge of print and web-to-print will be instrumental as we look to define more innovative solutions for our clients and grow our presence nationally."
He went on to say “Dave joins a talented team of Managers and Team Leaders, who together will continue to move Kingfisher Print & Design forward, embracing challenges to increase sales growth and improve efficiency across the business”.
Dave Stones commented: "I am looking forward to working with the brilliant team to expand Kingfisher Print & Design’s business nationally and continue to invest in our relationships with existing customers.”
He continued “I have been tasked with bringing the Kingfisher Print & Design brand to new markets, providing a solutions based service, and one that promotes added value as a primary focus aimed at improving customer’s ROI”.
Earlier this year Kingfisher Print & Design made a million pound investment in a new Heidelberg Speedmaster XL75 with Inpress control and Auto Plate following one of their most successful years to date. Managing Director, Ross Bellotti said: “The new Heidelberg XL75 was a significant strategic investment for us and brings us a real competitive advantage. With Dave Stones joining us as Commercial Director it will ensure we get our message out to key markets, driving the next phase in Kingfisher’s growth and development.
