Outstanding shortlist for Excellence Awards
Following an overwhelming number of entries for the 2012 BPIF Excellence Awards, a panel of judges made up of print industry experts, have drawn up a shortlist of an exceptionally high calibre.
Designed to celebrate excellence within the Printing Industry, the Awards include Human Resources, Marketing, Customer Service, Innovation, and Company of the Year.
This year's Awards ceremony features an exotic ‘Latin Fever' theme and will take place on Thursday 13 September at The Tower - A Guoman Hotel situated on the River Thames with panoramic views over Tower Bridge, the Thames and St Katherine Docks.
Entertainment will include BBC's ex Strictly Come Dancing stars Darren Bennett and Lilia Kopylova, who are still the most successful male and female professionals in the history of the show. Hosting the event will be Bobby Davro, the comedian, singer, impressionist and, more recently, Vinnie Monks on Eastenders, who is sure to make it a real night to remember.
Tickets sales have been brisk already as a high proportion of the industry will be attending this unmissable celebration of success, innovation and creativity across the print media spectrum. Although tickets are still available, those who haven't yet reserved tables are advised to do so quickly, if last year's sell out event at the Cafe de Paris is anything to go by.
Congratulations to everyone who applied, and especially to those who have been shortlisted.

22 February 2024
Performance in the UK's printing and printed packaging industry did improve in Q4, as far as output and orders are concerned. However, it didn't come close to what would historically be considered the seasonal norm, nor quite match the subdued expectations for Q4.
