Managing Projects to Ensure Success - Lean Champion Passport

Managing Projects to Ensure Success - Lean Champion Passport

The 22nd November will see the next module of Vision in Print's highly acclaimed Lean Champion Passport, in conjunction with Heidelberg.

This Managing Projects to Ensure Success will allow delegates understand the importance of: Defining and planning projects, Structured problem solving and Using customer surveys and feedback to drive improvement. Using a combination of presentations, practical exercises and discussions that will stimulate and encourage delegates to put their learning into action.

Vision in Print is very successful in helping companies to apply lean techniques such as waste reduction, make-ready reduction, streamlining office processes etc. However, co-ordinating change programmes across a company and ensuring they are sustained is challenging. The solution for many companies is to appoint a 'Lean Champion' or 'Continuous Improvement Manager'.

The Lean Champion Passport is the ideal way to train internal Lean Champions in the vital skills to co-ordinate your lean projects.

Organised as a series of 4 one-day workshops, Lean Champions will be trained to apply underlying lean concepts in an easily understood and effective way that they can put into immediate action at your company.

Attendees to all four modules are awarded a Heidelberg Lean Champion Passport. Vision in Print experts use a combination of presentations, practical exercises and discussions that will stimulate and encourage your Lean Champion to put their learning into action.

"It is common to focus more on the technical applications of Lean training and neglect the skill of extracting knowledge and commitment from individuals and the team. I have been on the Lean Champion Passport programme and it delivers a good balance of training on both the above areas. Remember you need to practice professional project management to ensure success and a consistent approach." David Thomas, Operational Director – A1 Trade Print Services
