The much anticipated British Book Design and Production Awards shortlist
The BPIF, together with Oxford Brookes University, The Publishers Association, The Booksellers and the BookMachine are proud to announce the shortlist for the British Book Design and Production Awards 2017. With 17 categories, and a record number of entries, the annual awards remain the UK's premiere event for book design and production.
A panel of four judges, selected from the areas of design, publishing and production gathered for two days at Oxford Brookes University, where they had the momentous task of examining every single book in order to reach a decision on the shortlist for each category.
The winners of each category will be announced on Thursday 16 November 2017 at a dazzling ceremony at the prestigious Millennium Mayfair London Hotel. This year's Awards are certain to be a memorable night as industry and clients come together to celebrate the best of British book design and production.

Slight recovery of output and orders falls short of expectations in Q4 - confidence concerns mount in 2024
22 February 2024
Performance in the UK's printing and printed packaging industry did improve in Q4, as far as output and orders are concerned. However, it didn't come close to what would historically be considered the seasonal norm, nor quite match the subdued expectations for Q4.
The BPIF is the printing industries champion. By becoming a member you join a diverse and influential community. We help you solve business problems, connect you to new customers and suppliers and make your voice heard in government.
