BPIF shortlisted for TAF Awards in four categories
Doubling last year's efforts, in which the BPIF won ‘Event of the Year' for the British Book Design and Production Awards (BBD&PA) and were a finalist for 'Publication of the Year'. The TAF Awards recognise, reward and promote best practice amongst Trade Associations in the UK and are chance for TAF members to showcase their hard work and achievements during the last twelve months.
The prestigious British Book Design and Production Awards, run by the BPIF, has been shortlisted for the ‘Social Media Award' for the whole event and ‘Publication of the Year' for its Book of the Night - which details winners and finalists of the Awards. In addition the BPIF's website, launched in March 2016, has also been nominated for ‘Website of the Year' and the BOSS Leaders of the Future Conference, run by the BPIF, has been shortlisted for ‘Conference of the Year'.
Amy Hutchinson, BPIF Marketing Director said, "I'm absolutely delighted that we've been shortlisted in four categories. It's a huge credit to the team's hard work throughout the year and we'll be keeping our fingers crossed for a win!"
The BPIF look forward to the results which will be presented at the TAF Awards ceremony on 12 July in London.

Slight recovery of output and orders falls short of expectations in Q4 - confidence concerns mount in 2024

Performance in the UK's printing and printed packaging industry did improve in Q4, as far as output and orders are concerned. However, it didn't come close to what would historically be considered the seasonal norm, nor quite match the subdued expectations for Q4.
