Duplo cites The Print Show as a ‘great opportunity’ after signing up for 2016
Finishing systems specialist Duplo has become the latest major brand to commit to The Print Show this year by signing up to exhibit at the event in October.
Sarah Crumpler, Duplo UK marketing manager, finalised the show contract with event director Chris Davies at this year’s Drupa, where both Duplo and The Print Show were in attendance to spread the word about their respective messages.
Duplo will be able to build on the interest generated at Drupa by focusing more on the UK market at The Print Show, which is dedicated to the UK market. Taking place at the NEC in Birmingham from October 11th to 13th, this year’s event will welcome a wide range of companies, each of which will benefit from a heavy interest in the show, following the success of last year’s inaugural event.
One of the highlights on Duplo’s stand at The Print Show will be the UK debut of its PFi Di-CUT 300, which, like all products and solutions from the manufacturer, has been designed to enable faster turnaround times with smart technology advances and better workflow integration.
Speaking about the decision to exhibit at The Print Show, Crumpler said: “Drupa has been going exceptionally for well Duplo. Now we are looking forward to being part of a UK national show later where our prospects and customers of the Duplo family can visit to see our latest systems.
“The Print Show will be another great opportunity to show live demonstrations of how our systems are smarter, faster and better.”
Davies was also keen to air his views on the decision, stating that Duplo will be a ‘real asset’ for The Print Show this year, as the event looks to go from strength to strength,
He added: “Having Duplo aboard will be a real asset. It is a company that has an enviable reputation in the whole print industry, not only as in producing great products and delivering great service, but also as a company that supports wider education and business. This is going to be a great show.
“Another important factor to Duplo joining our exhibitor ranks is that its brand identity and loyal customer base will also no doubt be even more of a motivating factor for more visitors to attend The Print Show 2016 as we look to smash the target of 6,000 visitors in our second year.”

22 February 2024
Performance in the UK's printing and printed packaging industry did improve in Q4, as far as output and orders are concerned. However, it didn't come close to what would historically be considered the seasonal norm, nor quite match the subdued expectations for Q4.
