BPIF Training can transform your workforce
From apprenticeship programmes that ensure companies attract high quality entrants to development training that guarantees the industry benefits from experienced and highly trained employees, BPIF Training have it covered. We believe in high standards; we have an Ofsted rating of two, and are accredited by City & Guilds, ILM, SQA and ISO.
The BPIF currently have over 500 apprentices on their training programmes and have recently conducted two surveys, one with learners and one with employers, to assess satisfaction rates.
The apprentice survey, which included questions on the apprentices' individual training, showed positive results. Over 94% of learners felt that they had the chance to develop new skills and over 97% felt that they were developing the skills they needed to do their job well, with one learner commenting, "it took me a little while to really get 'stuck in' with my course, but with my assessor's help and encouragement I feel like I'm starting to enjoy my course and seeing the benefit of what I'm learning and applying it to my job role." 100% of learners felt that the feedback they get tells them what they are doing well and where they need to improve; one of the learners stated that "the plans we put together at the end of each session really benefit me and make clear what I need to do to progress."

22 February 2024
Performance in the UK's printing and printed packaging industry did improve in Q4, as far as output and orders are concerned. However, it didn't come close to what would historically be considered the seasonal norm, nor quite match the subdued expectations for Q4.
