The Department for the Economy's Analytical Services Unit has published their September 2017 edition of the Monthly Economic Update. The update provides a brief summary of the main trends and events arising each month within the local, national and global economies.
In 2016, the total graphic paper consumption was 26.8 billion tonnes in Europe. This is 3.9% less than in 2015 and 32.7% less than in 2000.
It's been more than a year since the UK voted to leave the EU after more than 40 years of membership. Many predictions were made before the Brexit vote about what would happen to the economy and society as a whole if the UK chose to leave the EU.
