Who's the course for?
This course is for commercial printers with experience of vinyl application and a desire to gain the hands on techniques and skills required for all types of vehicle wrapping. The workshop is aimed at those who consider vehicle wrapping to be core to their business growth and who have some experience for example having attend the Digital Academy Intro to Vehicle Wrapping & Vinyl Application workshop and are looking to improve their skills. With a total of only 4 attendees per workshop the day is designed to be very hands on and practical in nature.

Course Syllabus

The workshop will start with a demonstration of the basics of applying wrapping material to a vehicle.

Demonstrations and advice will be given on:-
- Reading wrinkles
- Problem areas
- Stretching material, when, where and by how much?
- Recesses
- Compound curves
- Large stretch areas - including wing mirrors
- Removing parts
- Cleaning panels
- Cutting tapes
- Finishing panels
- Post heating
- After care
- Presentation to cover environment and tools required and discussion re pricing criteria.

Attendee will then be given the opportunity to undertake all the above with support and advice from the trainer in practical hands on sessions.
