The workshop is designed to educate customers on the OKI Pro Series capabilities of white & clear toner, plus foil fusing, highlight the device benefits on how it can help set a business ahead of its competition and demonstrate value added print production in-house, and highlight the benefits, costs, flexibility, and convenience by doing so in house. It is aimed at Graphic designers, Marketing departments, Brand owners, business presentation departments/areas such as new business bidding, security printing and tenders.

Course Syllabus

Colour Management fundamentals in your business:

• Why colour is important to a business, perception of quality, brand awareness
• Why you should calibrate monitors with a demonstration
• Why you must setup design applications correct
• The difference between office colour  and digital print

Demonstrate the use of CMYK, Caslon foiling, white on coloured & clear substratesock, and clear on coloured & white substrates:

• Print from Adobe Acrobat/illustrator/InDesign
• Produce examples of white onto coloured substrates, how to change an image from colour to white/clear in easy steps
• Print/Foil/Print demonstrations

Demonstrate end-to-end processes that utilise the OKI device in an office environment.  Create presentation books, 6 page gatefolds, brochures, invitations and direct mail pieces

• Produce examples of a product brochure, adding clear toner
• Produce a ticket/voucher, adding clear toner
• Produce invitations onto luxury paper, with foil areas
• Produce a 6 page gatefold print, with trimming & creasing demonstration
• Produce direct mail pieces, including printing white onto coloured envelopes
• Produce extended length jobs for company presentations
• Show a range of pre-printed & finished samples
