This workshop is aimed at anyone interested in gaining a greater understanding of the issues that static electricity can cause in Digital Print and furthermore solutions to prevent static affecting quality and productivity and operator shocks.

Topics and demonstrations will include the measurement of static, effect of static in attracting contamination and how to remove it, general static elimination principles and an introduction to the tools and techniques for controlling static.

There will be an opportunity for participants to ask about their own equipment in an open forum.

The cost of this workshop will be reimbursed via a £50 voucher that can be used to purchase products from Fraser Anti-static Techniques.Learning Objectives

Following the course, participants will have a better understanding of what static electricity is and how it is generated, how to recognise its effects and an appreciation of the options available to control static.
